For the second year in a row, SkyMesh has taken out the top position as Best Satellite NBN Provider in WhistleOut’s annual telco awards.
WhistleOut publisher, Joseph Hanlon said: “Providing reliable internet services to rural and regional Australia is what SkyMesh is all about, with the business taking home the Best Satellite NBN Provider award for the second year running.”
Receiving this Award again is a humbling reflection of how hard we work to make sure rural and remote Australians have an affordable internet service that they can rely on.
This year has been particularly challenging for people from all walks of life, but especially for rural and remote Australians who have not only dealt with a global pandemic but have also faced bushfires, droughts and floods.
Keeping those people connected throughout the worst year of their lives has been a driving force for SkyMesh and we are delighted to be recognised for our efforts.
SkyMesh was a runner up for WhistleOut’s Best Satellite NBN Provider Award in 2018 and is now the proud Winner of that Award in both 2019 and 2020.
The WhistleOut Awards recognise and highlight the telco companies that have provided Australians with the best plans and promotions across a broad range of phone and internet categories.
In a busy and competitive industry, the WhistleOut Awards help consumers identify providers that have consistently offered the best plans over the past 12-months for particular usage needs.
The Awards are decided via the accumulation of points gained through WhistleOut’s monthly Editor’s Pick categories over the period July 2019 – June 2020.
WhistleOut reviewed the biggest cross section of providers possible, including the top 10 service providers and many smaller providers.
Judging was based on a balance of peak/off peak data inclusions, speed, and costs for a satellite NBN connection. Activation and modem fees were also considered.
